- Be the voice of the customer in the target market segment, and identify how most customer value can be created, across the end-to-end customer journey
- Define a single tier product strategy and roadmap, maximizing customer value and leveraging the latest technology trends
- Define market requirements, with a strong focus on user workflow and services
- Commit (to customer) for non-standard product features
- Assess and implement product life cycle initiatives
- Escalation level for technical and product related TnC's/SOW (within CPI)
- Be an expert with respect to competition
- Evangelize the product value proposition and develop tools and collateral to enable sales
- Master's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in fields of business, marketing, engineering or related field
- 5 – 10 years of experience in product management or equivalent experience set
- Proven track record in Software technology business
- A real team player willing to work in an international and multi-cultural context – both internally as well as with customers and partners
- Passionate about technology, software and entertainment
- Eager to truly learn and understand our customers' business with strong listening skills to anticipate the customer needs of the future
- Analytically strong and structured to develop and communicate a compelling business strategy
- Willing to travel international, 30% of time
- Willing to work in an international setting with remote teams
- Fluent in English

The Product Unit Image Processing has a strong track record of leading innovations in the area of video processing within the Live Entertainment and ProAV industry. The tag line "No Barco, No Show" has been used by our customers to underline the key role of our products for Live Entertainment.
Function
As a Product Manager, you are at the center to sustain this track record of innovation. You develop the product line strategy and define new product development plans. You interact closely with other divisional and regional teams (Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Service) to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met throughout the entire product lifecycle.
