We are currently looking for a
Draftsman Solid Works for the design of winches (maritime) who can work at the location of our clients in area of
Zeebrugge in Belgium.

Tasks & responsibilities

You are involved in projects for the design of several types of winches (anchor winches & anchormooring winches; mainly electrical driven);
You make detail drawings of production drawings, spare parts drawings and assembly plans. The design of the winches itself is performed by our client;
You are mostly involved in finalizing the 3D design but you also convert 3D drawings to 2D.

Functie eisen:

Technical knowledge & soft skills

You mínimally have a bachelor degree in design or equal with experience;
You are a draftsman who has mínimally 3 years of relevant experience in detail design of preferable winches in the shipbuilding / offshore industry;
You are experience in Solid Works, any other packages are a plus;
You have an excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
You have European citizenship;
You are willing to work in Belgium for a period of minimum three months;
You are accurate, decisive and efficient. Also you have good communication skills;
Furthermore you are someone who gets energy of a driven atmosphere where colleagues support each other and where your own contribution is appreciated.
