Role Overview

We are looking for:

The Corporate Media Manager's role is to enhance the company's corporate reputation and positioning, by enabling clear, consistent, strong business narratives and maximizing positive media coverage of the company.
You will evolve in a team of 5 people, spread over Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific
You will report directly to the Media Relations Director.

We count on you for:

Enhancing the company's corporate reputation and positioning by enabling clear, consistent, strong narratives at a global level.
Developing relations with the media at global corporate level and answering enquiries at global corporate level from the press and other media representatives.
Organizing and implementing creative initiatives to generate news value and attract the attention of journalists and other target audiences.
Leveraging business stories to support the media team in pitching generalist media and integrating pure corporate content with innovation examples helping the "scientific angle".
Managing and coordinating the crisis response process and teams.
Through proactive press, online and social media monitoring, capturing reputation risks and opportunities.
Crafting powerful messages in close collaboration with the Media Relations Director and other relevant stakeholders.
Developing and enhancing the Group's reputation risk preparedness.
This role comprises the coordination of the media calendar and initiatives at global level. The media manager owns the PR and the crisis processes and ensures that these are followed at group level, including with business entities
The position involves also some operational work such as mastering the Monitoring tools and creating coverage reports, as well as mastering the PR distribution tools, postings and media lists & contacts

Knowledge of the media landscape
Good knowledge of the Group and business
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent level of English (written and verbal)
Professional proficiency in French and/or Dutch is a plus
