We are growing significantly worldwide and logically, our Finance department is growing fast along with us For this reason, we are looking for an experienced and driven Accountant to strengthen our team internally at the Finance department in Brussels.

Are you our new colleague?
In this position, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting activities within our company. You are the key figure in ensuring financial integrity and efficiency.

This role requires not only in-depth knowledge of financial processes and legislation, but also leadership and the ability to work effectively with different departments.

You play a crucial role in supporting strategic decisions through relevant financial analysis. In addition, you will be at the heart of the consolidation of 8 daughter companies.

In addition, your responsibilities are:
Accurately prepare and analyse monthly and annual financial statements for accurate financial statements;
Coordinating and leading the audit process falls under your responsibilities, ensuring strict compliance with tax laws and regulations;
You will focus on improving systems and processes to enhance the company's financial efficiency;

Participate in preparing budget forecasts and implementing budgets and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company standards.

Monitor payroll processing/commission calculation and back-up if payroll administrator is absent.

Wat zoeken wij?

Are you an Accountant with around 3 to 6 years of working experience in a similar position? Then you are eligible for the role to join our team of 6 in Brussels.

In addition, we are looking for someone with:
At least a completed Bachelor's degree;
Good command of Excel, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail;
Team player with the ability to work independently;
Experience in consolidation is a plus;
Excellent communication skills in English. French and/or Dutch are a plus.
