NTT DATA is looking for a Azure Cloud Architect/Engineer for one of our clients in Brussels.Your role:
As a Data Architect/Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, building and maintaining cloud-based solutions for our clients inside and outside the organisation, using Azure Services.
The ideal candidate should have a solid knowledge of Terraform, azure services, Azure DevOps and have experience with Azure landing zones.
As a member of the existing team, you will collaborate with project managers, developers and other stakeholders to ensure our cloud solutions are scalable, reliable and secure.
Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, implementing cloud-based solutions using azure services.
Create infrastructure-as code, using Terraform to manage azure resources.
Implement security and compliance best practices for azure services and applications
Develop automation scripts and processes to streamline and manage deployments related to azure resources.
Collaborate with project managers to plan and estimate cloud infrastructure requirements for new projects
Collaborate with developers to ensure cloud solutions are optimised for performance and scalability
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams, runbooks and other documentation as required
Keep abreast of the latest Azure services and technologies and provide advice and recommendations to the team on new features and capabilities
Implement and maintain Azure Landing Zones and ensure compliance with best practices
Work with Azure DevOps to implement and manage cloud-based solutions
Supervise and train junior team members on Azure services, Terraform, Azure Landing Zones and Azure DevOps.
Your profile:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
5+ years of experience in designing, building and maintaining cloud-based solutions using Azure services
Strong skills in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and experience with Git for version control
In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, and others
Experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines and release management
Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones and experience implementing them
Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions, including identity and access management, data protection and network security
Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI and Azure Automation
Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or related certifications are a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
