Last year, we successfully secured 15 million Euros during our Series A funding round. Now, we're on the lookout for someone who can help us manage and support our grip on that cash

You'll report directly to Marc, our new CFO ‍. You'll also collaborate very closely with our CRO as well as with our Finance Manager.

You'll join us at a time where we are building for the future; we don't have loads of processes and procedures in place yet, sometimes it might look chaotic.

You'll have the patience and knowledge to help us fortify our commercial foundations.

Business Partner and Financial right-hand to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO):Act as a key member of the finance organization, reporting to the CFO, and as business partner, supporting the CRO in revenue forecasting

SaaS Revenue Management and KPIs: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of revenue and its underlying drivers and other SaaS KPIs

Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the company's long-term goals

Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing a comprehensive view of financial expectations and operational goals

Cash Planning and forecasting: Monitor tightly the cash-flow and establish rolling cash plan forecasts

Financial Oversight and Compliance: Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, lead audit processes together with the Finance Manager, and maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations. Implement robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets

Business Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of business operations, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance profitability and efficiency. Build and maintain dashboards and monitor key performance indicators to provide actionable insights to relevant stakeholders

Process Improvement and Technology Integration: Select, implement, and utilize advanced financial systems and technologies, (we use Exact Online, HubSpot CRM, and Power BI at the moment), to optimise financial and business processes. You'll champion the integration of financial data into business decision-making

Stakeholder Engagement:Maintain effective communication with all your internal stakeholders and external partners. Translate complex financial data into actionable business insights

Monthly Reconciliation: Handle revenue recognition and deferred revenue, ensuring data integrity of all topline-related items

Sales and Marketing Support: Assist Sales with forecasting and Marketing with cost center budget ownership. Manage the Sales Incentive calculation and reporting, supporting the CRO in SIP design and performance management

Deal Analysis and Compliance: Support the CRO in deal summarization, accretion evaluation, quarterly business reviews, and annual planning meetings. Ensure billing and revenue accounting compliance across sales regions

CRM Data Accuracy: Ensure accurate CRM data for financial reporting, supporting sales for timely and accurate billing, and assisting the finance manager in the collection process


About You:


Experience:

A solid 5 years of relevant experience in financial and business control with a proven track record of support to decision making.

Experience in software SaaS and within a Big4 firm would be considered an asset.

Education:
Masters degree in Economics or equivalent

Language Skills:
You'll be fluent in Dutch and English

Tech Skills:
Experience with data modelling and reporting in financial systems and Power BI; Advanced command of Excel and PowerPoint

Analytical Skills:
You'll have exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills

Communication:
You'll have strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills

Adaptability:
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced scale-up context with constant change and competing deadlines.
