Our client is a
leading commercial packaging company situated in
Zaventem.

Your main
responsibilities as
General ledger accountant are:

Supervise, explain the reporting of general costs;
Organize and control the activities of financial and budgetary reporting;
Preparation of financial statements at the end of each quarter;
Intercompany accounting (Interest calculation, invoicing, payment,..);
Booking of the valuation of the different participations;

Vat Declaration;

Preparation of several spreadsheets for the management report (Budget vs Actual);
Control General accounts;
Preparation of documentation for the auditors;
Budget preparation;
Calculation and booking of all the accrual (charges, interest,...).
Introduce invoices (coownership and taxes) in general accounting and in analytical accounting;
Ensure the approval and payment of invoices;
Check the approval of the invoices;
Supervise the payment of invoices;
Report the income statement by expenses, by real property and by site;
Analyze the charges per quarter;
Invoicing;
Reconcile all accounts with necessary information for all companies of the Group;
Carry out the general audit of the statutory accounts;
Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement for all companies of the Group;
Review closing entries, provisions;
Prepare the consolidated income statement;
Prepare and review opening balance sheet including all relevant documents;
Check the plausibility of provisions included in opening balance sheet;
Integration in the accounting system and create all necessary input in the accounting system.
