Work environment


We are looking for a strongly committed and experienced colleague in environmental and societal topics to reinforce our team and become the first CSR Officer of Tractebel within the Strategy and Development Department.


As a team, our objective is to provide sustainable business for the company to contribute to the carbon neutrality and to the global performance of the company.


This position can be based in either Brussels (Belgium) or Gennevilliers (Paris, France).

Mission
As Corporate Social Responsibility Officer within Tractebel, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Monitor Tractebel's 2025 CSR roadmap and the associated indicators;
  • Implement the global actions of the CSR roadmap;
  • Be in support of the operational teams to help them implement the local CSR actions;
  • Coordinate and animate the network of international CSR referents on each CSR topic in the Business Areas and legal entities of Tractebel;
  • Organize and lead the CSR network steering committees;
  • Develop the collaboration with the ENGIE group players on CSR (ENGIE CSR Department, ENGIE Human Resources Department, operational entities from all GBUs ) and actively contribute to their networks to promote Tractebel;
  • Carry out the reports requested by the ENGIE group;
  • Raise awareness among the employees on a continuous basis (trainings, communication campaigns, CSR events );
  • Present the CSR progress to the Executive Committee.

Profile

  • University degree or equivalent by experience;
  • Strong appetence for environmental and societal topics;
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar position;
  • Customer, quality and result oriented;
  • Handson, selfmotivated and true team player;
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to animate a network;
  • Out of the box and innovation / Not fearing a blank page;
  • Analytical mindset and appetite for KPIs' follow up;
  • Knowledge of the public institutions & close watch to the CSR regulation;
  • Knowledge and emphasis on environment and diversity / inclusion topics;
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills in both technical and business contexts;
  • Willing to work in an international environment;
  • Intercultural communication & understanding;
  • Ideally fluent in English and French or Dutch;
  • Knowledge in B Corp or Ecovadis certification is a plus;
  • Knowledge of double or triple materiality methodology is a plus;
  • Knowledge in carbon footprint report / Life Cycle Analysis methodology is a plus.
