If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Supply Chain Excellence Director


As a Group Supply Chain Excellence Director, you are crucial in driving functional excellence across multiple supply chain functions within our group.

In this role, you will focus on optimizing and enhancing specific supply chain functional areas to achieve operational excellence and strategic goals.


Main responsibilities and key tasks

Strategic Alignment: Developing and implementing strategies to align supply chain functional excellence initiatives with the overall business strategy and objectives of the group. This involves understanding the unique requirements and challenges of each functional area and developing plans to optimize their performance.

Process Optimization: Analyzing and improving supply chain processes within each functional area to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. This includes identifying best practices, standardizing processes, eliminating waste, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Performance Measurement and KPI's: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of each supply chain functional area. Monitoring and analyzing these metrics to identify areas for improvement, track progress, and drive performance enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with leaders and teams across different functional areas, such as commercial, procurement, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, and production, to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain activities. Facilitating communication and coordination to optimize processes and achieve shared goals.

Talent Development: Building and leading a high-performing Supply Chain community and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Technology and Innovation: Evaluating and implementing advanced technologies, tools, and systems to optimize supply chain processes within each functional area. This includes leveraging automation, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies to enhance visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.

Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks across the various supply chain functional areas. This includes assessing potential disruptions, developing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring business continuity and resilience.

Continuous Improvement: Driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain functional areas. Promoting best in class methodologies, conducting root cause analysis, and leading improvement projects to optimize processes, delivery performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness


Competencies and skills

  • Master education
  • You have 10+ years of international experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Experienced in working in a global, highly diversified environment
  • Experienced in reducing complexity across global supply chains
  • Proven track record in implementing bestinclass supply chain services & solutions
  • Understanding and experience in the digital landscape and opportunities
  • Leveraging the supply chain for sustainability purposes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Proven ability to lead change and implement Supply Chain best practices
  • You are structured, analytical an have the ability to identify critical take aways in complex situations and turn them into simple overviews for decision making.
  • You can connect with both operational business teams and top management both written and orally.

You are fluent in English
