Our client is a fast growing company active in the
media sector.

As
Financial Controller you will be
responsible for:

Carrying out P/L analysis and individual business areas
Ensuring the accuracy of all accounting transactions
Providing analysis on Key Performance Indicators & remuneration
Reviewing of business processes in relation to financial costs
Play an active role in the Business Plan process
Reconciliation of statutory Consolidated Financial Statements
Assisting with the annual audit preparation
Analysing financial results, actual vs forecasts and recommending changes
Interacting with relevant departments to improve cost control
Assisting the Management in development and implementation of new processes and procedures
Adhoc reports and analysis as required for external and internal stakeholders
Ensuring that the Company's policies, rules, procedures and legal obligations are observed in carrying out the above duties
Preparing meaningful Management Accounts to the local and global Management TeamStandardizing forecast formats and reducing unnecessary reports
Coordinating and preparing budgets, forecasts and financial activities on an annual and adhoc basis

The required
profile for the
Financial Controller position:

You have a master's degree in Economics (preferred with financial background) or you are equal by experience, AND minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
You have a profound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
You have excellent and extended knowledge of Excel and Power BI and are a master in handling data bases
You have good knowledge in Navision Microsoft Dynamics & HFM Oracle
You have very good knowledge of accounting (BEGAAP), (USGAAP) and corporate finance principles
You have a flair for numbers and a sharp eye for details without losing the overview
You are highly structured and have excellent analytical skills
You are compliance oriented
You are enthusiastic, eager to learn and progress and a good communicator
You are proactive and a real team player
You are prepared to provide operational assistance to the rest of the team when needed
You are dedicated, flexible and stressresistant
You are fluent in English and Dutch/ French both spoken and written.
