As a Chapter Owner Lead, you act as a
leader and
expert in your specialty.


You are responsible for managing & developing the Chapter Owners within your domain in consultation with the Chapter Area Lead.

You aim to ensure performance and development of the Chapters in your specialty.


Accountabilities

Guide people & develop talents.

  • You are responsible for overall career direction and capability building track of your Chapters.
  • You develop, coach, and evaluate Chapter Owners' performance, based on 360° feedback view.
  • You are responsible for the growth of Chapter Owners & Chapter members, relating to their skill set and their personal achievement.
  • You support Chapter Owners regarding people management activities.
  • You assure cross fertilization thanks to multidisciplinary approach and cultivate tshaping mindset.
  • You act as a servant leader and a reference in your specialty, supporting resolution of complex problems.
  • You align with the Chapter Owner on knowledge sharing process within the subChapter area through guilds.
  • You create an atmosphere of confidence & trust to stimulate experimentation, learning & motivation in reaching objectives.
  • You define professional standards and methodology, key trends, and innovation practices in the industry for your Chapters.
  • You define standards for Builtin quality & consistency as well as technological.
  • You assure vendor and Partner management in compliance with financial followup.

Co-leadership with Tribes

  • You work in very close collaboration with the tribe members, more specifically with Tribe Leads, Product Owner Leads and Product Owners, to establish a coleadership in the prioritization of the backlog as well as the implementation and delivery executed by the squads.

Scope

  • You help the Tribes to further grow and evolve the provisioning platforms for residential and B2B product offerings, and help to further grow value, easeof use, performance and stability to the endusers and customers.
  • You understand the insideout of the key provisioning platforms for residential and B2B creating the perfect bridge between the technical details and the business requests
  • You define the release strategy of the deliveries (from a technical point of view) and coordinate that with the IT operations teams.

  • You have proven skills in coaching: can coach Chapter Owners and members in the areas of performance, standards, change and work methods
  • You have strong communication skills: communicate clearly and openly to product owners, product owner leads and Chapter members
  • You are a people manager: can organize, motivate and inspire people
  • You are strong in problem solving and decisionmaking
  • You are a continuous learner: eager to learn more in its field and develop own skill set further

Technical competencies

  • You have experience with agile (certification is a plus)
  • You have experience in developing and implementing methods and standards
  • You are a critical thinker
