To support our team in Brussels, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager Belux on a freelance/project basis.

The Supply Chain Manager leads the regional functions (i.e. customer service, demand planning and logistics) and is responsible for the regional end-to-end supply chain process from warehouse to customer. In this role you report to the Supply Chain Director Benelux & GBD, based in the Netherlands.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the regional supply chain team
  • Managing the regional supply chain and the regional supply chain budget within the Annual Operating Plan and global supply chain ambitions and plans
  • Translate global standard operating procedures, protocols and performance related metrics for supply chain into the respective region and ensure constant alignment with the global standards
  • Responsible for regional customer service & logistics management
  • Responsible for regional inventory management (risks, costs, levels, flows)
  • Prioritize in event of supply constraints affecting customers at a regional level
  • Manage regional logistics footprint (warehouse and distribution network) optimization and ensure optimization is in line with the global logistics footprint optimization
  • Provide input to the global supply chain function to evaluate and select the appropriate global supply chain model (flexibility versus efficiency).
  • Provide input in defining global strategy concerning Logistic Service Providers and translate outcomes in regional perspective
  • Ensure regional compliance to internal policies & procedures and have a deep understanding of and manages compliance to the Combined Business Model

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 8 years leadership experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and/or consulting
  • Track record of developing highperformance, worldclass teams.
  • Proven results in Service optimization and E2E process improvements
  • Proven results in driving a Supply Chain excellence program/CI mindset
  • Proven results in cost productivity improvement
  • Experience and proximity to daytoday supply chain operations
  • You have strong communication skills and have a good knowledge of Dutch and English
