Rechargeable Battery Materials

What you will be doing
The Engineering Advanced Planning department of RBM focusses on long term planning (Program Portfolio) for the preparation of programs that will be implemented within the next 3 to 5 years, and maintaining existent projects/programs dashboards updated


RBM's current strategic growth plan requires multi-billion euro capacity expansion programs across the different regions in the world to meet market demand in the supply of rechargeable battery materials.


A global RBM Engineering portfolio of investment programs has been established, requiring engineering resources providing overall agile execution leadership, technical design, external environmentally sustainable solutions, integrated speed-to-market timelines, optimized CAPEX budgets & quality implementation of strategic and complex investments in an international context and manage the teams involved, including external engineering resources.

As


Senior Manager Master Planning:

- you will integrate multiple projects into programs, sets standards and good practices with the engineering planners, guarantee timely update of project time plans, produce early program time plans, set procedures with external partners for time plans, report on risks and propose mitigation plans, establish global engineering planning KPi's and innovates on project planning
- you will be responsible for the scheduling of the engineering projects
- you will be working with the multi-discipline teams and you are responsible to interface & integrate the different site project's timelines in direct coordination with engineering program/project managers, ePCM partners and technical functional/domain leaders giving clear visibility of the project status and alerting on time to deviations to the program/project baselines


Who we are looking for

  • University degree, or equivalent qualification, in Engineering, preferably Masters in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical & Instrumentation/Automation.
  • Extensive experience (+15 years) as project manager or Planner, ideally with proven experience (+5years) in Automotive (APQP) or Material/Mining Industry or alternatively in a regulated industry.
  • Technical experience and/or background in the execution of engineering projects (of specialties above mentioned) and proven experience and understanding in the execution of industrial projects in operational environments.
  • Knowledge of EHS standards, industry good practices and legal requirements applicable to the specialty of focus.
  • Knowledge of industrial project trades and the interactions between all trades (project management, construction management, civil/building/facilities, electrical, piping, process, equipment and startup activities).
  • Computer literate with strong solid understanding of the MS Office package specially Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
  • Outstanding proficiency in the use of project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project (0365 or Office 2019) or Planisware Version
  • Desired Project or Portfolio Management certification (PMI or Prince2)
  • Must have the Knowledge, Experience and Skills to conduct their tasks in accordance with the rules and procedures set down.
  • Proficient (written and verbal) English
