Context:

Degroof Petercam Asset Management distributes the funds it manages at the international level. Because data and performance analysis is at the core of the management company's operational model we wish to reinforce the Fixed Income department with a colleague specialist within this domain._

Your Position:

As Fixed Income portfolio data analyst you perform portfolio and data analyses in support of portfolio managers and investment specialist teams;
You perform qualitative checks of data in the value chain as well as in the reporting phase;
You maintain and enhance data content to facilitate reporting solutions for internal/external clients;
You actively participate in updating and controlling the reports before dispatching to our clients in a constantly changing (regulatory) environment;
You provide frontline support to portfolio managers and research analysts across the investment lifecycle;
In this position you partner with internal departments and entities abroad;
You support and in some cases represent portfolio managers and portfolio specialists in response to client inquiries, including ad hoc and followup prospect, client, and consultant questions;
You include the obtained results in fund presentations and present them to our stakeholders;
You report to the Head of Fixed Income.

Your Profile:

You obtained a master degree in economics, mathematics or finance orientation with great interest in the financial (asset management) industry;
You have 24 years of experience within fixed income financial markets;
You have a solid understanding of databases, Bloomberg, along with SQL, Python, and Excel/VBA coding;
You have a drive to master the analytics employed in fixed income portfolio management, along with associated risk models, scenario analysis, and performance measurement/attribution tools and procedures;
You are autonomous, proactive attitude and have a strong team spirit;
You have strong presentation skills;
You have a working knowledge in French/English or Dutch;
You like to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with a strive for perfection.
