As Country Manager, you will play a key role in building and driving the growth operations of one of our most promising markets within our Choco group: Belgium.

This position is ideal for those who have prior expansion experience but we're also open to individuals who have strong sales experience mixed with team management, strategy, and data analysis.


_ What you will do_

  • Directly oversee and own the performance, training and management of the functional managers (Sales, Account Management, Business Development) for the Belgian team
  • Collaborate and work crossfunctionally with global functional teams such as product, marketing, finance, etc. to ensure regional insights inform broader strategic initiatives
  • Drive efficient communication channels and meeting structures inside the Belgian team to ensure constant learning across city teams
  • Set targets and KPIs for the country and the individual functions (Sales, Account Management, Business Development)
  • Conduct performance reviews, decide on promotions and lead salary negotiations
  • Create and manage the country team budget, reviewing and approving monthly expenses.
  • Leverage on relationships with key local suppliers
  • Take full
    ownership of closing commercial deals with vendors

_What we're looking for_

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales + management
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fastpaced environment
  • Fluency in English, Flemish and in French is a musthave
  • Open and natural communicator who is comfortable articulating complex and diverse technical solutions to internal and external partners
  • Sales mentality with experience leveraging partnerships to uncover referral opportunities
  • Datadriven mindset with a focus on finding solutions and executing
