Your responsibilities:


  • Monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and pneumatic installations, all instrumentation as well as all installations and equipment related to PLCs and supervision, following a breakdown or as part of a planned activity, in order to guarantee the optimal functioning of production processes and their availability
  • Carry out electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting, as well as simple repairs and modifications, and corrections in relation to instrumentation, programmable logic controllers, including communication networks and supervision, by analysing the origin of the anomaly and, if necessary, proposing improvements in order to carry out the operations necessary to guarantee the continuity of production (e.g. carrying out various types of measurements, replacing defective components such as a frequency variator, correcting measurements, calibrating instruments, etc.).
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance operations or bringing into conformity electrical and pneumatic installations and equipment, instrumentation, programmable automatons, supervision and communication networks, following the established schedule and respecting the specifications of the various elements in order to guarantee the reliability of production and other equipment.
  • Ensure that systems are correctly reassembled and operate as specified in the documentation, ensuring that replaced parts perform their functions through testing in collaboration with production to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Ensure the administrative followup of interventions (e.g. writing procedures, reordering or creating electrical or pneumatic diagrams, making accurate intervention reports, etc.) so that the information is available and traceable for everyone concerned.
  • Exchanging information with relevant colleagues and/or departments, providing them with instructions and technical advice (internally and externally) for any problems encountered and potential impacts, to ensure that all stakeholders are informed.
  • Carry out simple mechanical maintenance or similar operations as required to support other departments and to encourage collaboration and mutual support.

Your Profile:

Level of education and/or experience required for the position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Automation or Electromechanics or equivalent by experience
  • 0 to 3 years previous relevant experience

Skills required for the position:

  • Good knowledge of electricity, instrumentation, pneumatics and good knowledge of automation and high voltage
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (instrumentation assembly, etc.)
  • Use of handling equipment (cherry pickers, forklifts, etc.) and associated certificates
  • First aid certificate, PPE, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of computer tools (EXCEL; WORD; EPLAN)
  • High degree of autonomy
  • Resistance to stress
  • Good problem solving skills (Pragmatism)
  • Ability to adapt to new materials and technologies
  • Good communication skills with colleagues and people from other departments
  • Availability/flexibility
