Our client wishes to call on external expertise for a number of specific challenges posed by the programme to migrate to LED-based public lighting.
These challenges are both technical and organisational and process-related.
The main challenge is to improve the operation of the ISL (Intelligent Street Lighting) platform by setting up/improving its service management.
The management of this platform as well as the management of communication with the light points is done by an external integrator/service provider.
Today, we note a number of problems in the operation and management of this platform, while there has been too little follow-up on the part of Our client to ensure the resolution of these problems.
This includes the following:
- Setting up reporting on the performance of the system (% communicating light points, % successful configurations, etc.).
- Setting up incident and problem management, i.e. registering and prioritising them and following them up with the service provider.
- Organising nonregression tests when introducing new H/W (communicating modules on light points) and S/W (firmware of modules or management system software).
- Documentation of the system (design documents, standard configurations of communication modules...)
- Setting up an efficient consultation structure with the service provider.
- Demonstrable experience in IT service management.
- Demonstrable experience in managing service providers/suppliers
- Demonstrable experience in IoT related projects
- Autonomy
- Bilingual (F/NL) with at least a thorough knowledge of one of the two languages.
