The Global Product Group for Scientific & Medical Affairs, is responsible for JNJ Innovative Medicine Commercial Medical Affairs' technology direction.

We act as point of contact for MAF business leaders and for other technology functions to identify and prioritize technology solutions to drive business impact and lead consistent implementation of these solutions across the business.

They will exhibit strong influence and passion for driving the organization towards consistent technology solutions aligned to overall JJIMT strategy.


The Medical Affairs Product Group and its MAF business partners are responsible for scientific engagement strategies and solutions and strive for excellence in this area in alignment with strategic transformation program ONE CAMPAIGN.

The MAF PG is responsible for identifying and implementing best in class solutions to advance and optimize scientific customer engagement.


We are seeking a motivated individual to join the team as IT Lead, Technical Product Owner with focus on Medical Education (MedEd) product.

This individual will drive strategy, development, implementation, and continued improvements of this product, which includes digital MedEd offering, MedEd content and MedEd operations.

In addition, person in this role will partner with other Product Groups to ensure Med Ed technology strategy is aligned with overall EMEA's technology strategy for customer engagement.

As a member of a global product group, you will focus on EMEA business needs.

You will have insight to Med Ed processes and capabilities outside of EMEA and will be in position to benchmark and learn from other regions as EMEA's roadmap is formulated.


The TPO will own vision and prioritization of new technical features and improvements to the product to meet business needs.

You will be accountable for technical delivery and value realization and will work in close partnership with the business product owner, other Product Groups, and Technology Services organization.


The TPO will:


  • Work closely with MedEd business partners, to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements for technology solutions.
  • Serve as the main contact for the technology development team, providing clear and concise direction on product priorities, features, and functionality.
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with multifunctional teams with representation of other product groups, including software developers, data scientists, and user experience designers, to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions on time and within budget.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback from stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions meet the needs of endusers and drive business value.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to track the performance and effectiveness of technology solutions, making datadriven decisions to optimize product features and functionality over time.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard processes in scientific research and development, using this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
  • Supervise contractors that run projects in this space.

Qualifications:


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, life sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 4+ years demonstrated ability in a technology product management or product ownership role, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Experience in implementing digital/web solutions is preferred.
  • Good understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban, with experience working in multifunctional Agile teams.
  • Superb communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to nontechnical partners and vice versa.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions.
  • You are process minded and demonstrate an engagement in work through effective goal setting and a strong result orientation.
  • Experience with implementing digital platforms and Sharepoint solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and competing demands.
