Jouw uitdaging:

We are looking for a Senior Project manager with a proven track record in the execution of Plant Engineering and Construction Capital Projects.

You will be responsible for managing the entire project in strong collaboration with our Operating Division working from our site in Antwerp (Belgium) This means:

Coordination, monitoring and managing of all project related activities and managing the interfaces within the project and with the main stakeholders.
Developing project delivery strategies, coordinating project assignments, estimating project costs, and pursuing project objectives, while also being responsible for technical management within the project organisation, are your daily activities.
Furthermore, supporting projectrelated team building and staff development and contributing to the identification and preparation of required resources.
Actively promoting internal partner relationships, preparing projectrelated decisions, conducting as well as evaluating tenders and ensuring a proper project closure including final documentation.
Finally, you ensure the proper identification and management of risks.

Onze ideale match:

A background in Engineering with a proven experience in Project/Engineering Management (from inception to commercial deployment) for Capital Projects in a chemical, petrochemical, or industrial setting (experience in €100 M investment cost projects is a plus)
A master's degree in engineering or in any other technical discipline is a prerequisite and a certification in project management (IPMA, PMI, or equivalent) would be advantageous.
Good communication, organizational skills, and ability to innovate are part of your core talents.
You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of Dutch, or you are willing to learn Dutch via an in house training. German language skills are a plus.
The job includes a willingness to travel frequently and if you would consider to temporarily relocate depending on the phase of the project is this an advantage
