Manager QC Weekend

In this role you will

  • Be responsible for the QC Weekend activities (lab and sample reception), team management, expert (and SPOC) in regard to the tests performed by the team
  • Leads and drives the team in terms of EHS mindset, quality mindset and performance
  • Works in close collaboration with Quality Assurance and Sterility Assurance Manager for the QC
  • Ensures good communication and interaction with stakeholders (QC teams, QA, Product Coordination,...)
  • Respect engagements for delivery and timelines for quality objectives (CAPA, deviations, eCC tasks, SOP reviews) and supply objectives (due dates for test launching, test validation and supply priorities)
  • Guarantees good communication within the team, with the management and the other departments of QC and MPUs

Qualifications & Skills:


  • University degree with a scientific orientation
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge in the domain of laboratory activity (Bacteriology, Virology, Cell culture, ELISA ). Experience in working in BL
  • BL3 facilities is a plus
  • Previous experience in a QC environment is a plus (ideally at least 3 years of experience in a production/QC environment)
  • Proven previous experience in team management is a must (managing a team of lab technicians)
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in French and a good level in English are mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, capacity to understand similarities and differences

  • Capacity to engage others, and work in a multifunctional team and ability to work with teams in other departments towards aligned goals
  • Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills,
  • Ability to work under pressure due to the requested flexibility and reactivity of the activities
  • Autonomous
  • Handson mentality
  • Ability to work in project teams in a multidisciplinary environment and a matrix organization, lean culture/operational excellence skills is a plus
