- You give demonstrations of the most valuable features and attributes of our products and services and link them to the customer's key challenges.
- With your technical expertise of dialysis products you help the sales colleagues during meetings with clients, and support them with product knowledge.
- Actively look for ways in which additional products/services can grow the value of the customer's account within the organization.
- You are the first point of contact for customer questions and complaints and help resolve these, while you refer complex issues to others and ensure that the customer receives a response.
- You work as the customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external customer relationships.
- A few years of experience in a clinical function (nurse, doctor), preferably in dialysis
- A commercial mindset. Preferably some relevant experience in sales positions in a hospital environment
- Clear communicator, decisive, a networker and team player.
- Good command of the Dutch and French language. Good level of English.

Clinical Specialist
The Clinical Specialist is assuring that our sold products and services are fully utilized by the customer and deliver the benefits that were outlined in the Sales process. Fresenius Medical Care is the world's leading provider of products and services for people with chronic kidney failure. We have the products, ability and know-how to help patients and hospitals in the full end-to-end process of kidney disease. Our organization is in full swing and as our Clinical Specialist you have the opportunity to help us further professionalize our sales department.
What this role entails
As a Clinical Specialist you maintain ongoing relationships with our customers (hospitals & clinics) in Belgium, and your internal colleagues, particularly those focused on technical applications of the product or service. You have the technical know-how of our products and are a true partner in crime for our Area Sales managers during visits at clients where you bring your expertise to the table. You train clients on our products, maintain relationships with partners, clients and make sure questions are answered or passed on to the right department, e.g. technical service, customer care, etc.

For this position, we are looking for a driven team player with both clinical and technical expertise of dialysis products. You are part of the Sales team with Area Sales Managers, Therapy Managers and Sales Application /Clinical Specialists. You report to the Sales Manager.
