Job Purpose and Impact:


The Supply Chain Analyst is a key role in our Supply Chain Development & Improvement team for Cocoa and Chocolate EMEA.

We support a global flow of cocoa beans, cocoa products and chocolate products and are responsible for processes and tooling improvements for our supply chain.

We enjoy working on these improvements in close collaboration with our business teams at customer service, planning, and inbound/outbound execution.


You will connect with your team mates to build expertise on our process, with our management team to build understanding of long term opportunities, challenges and priorities, and with our supply chain planning and execution teams to understand day-to-day challenges.

Based on this you manage your portfolio of tasks which will range from work on strategical development projects, short-term initiatives to support our operation with better processes and tooling, or ad-hoc support requests.


Your work will range from analyzing problems through interacting with our staff and through analyzing data, develop solutions through better processes or tooling, deployment of these solutions in our operation, and communication with management on high level insights and performance indicators.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Participate implementing supply chain designs, models, strategies and processes to improve the business.
  • Help identify opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.
  • Help conduct and oversee strategic supply chain analysis.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics, Engineering, Operations Research or other quantitative disciplines
  • Analytical mindset, able to translate abstract concepts into pragmatic solutions, shifting back and forth from highlevel insights to analytical and implementation details
  • Communication skills to interact with colleagues in different teams from execution management levels
  • Experience or affinity with supply chain management
  • Experience in working with data, for example with tools like Excel/PowerQuery, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL
  • Experience with ERP suites
