The current Volvo Car strategy surrounding electrification and direct-to-consumer business, implies a transformation within the retailer network and the commercial system in the next couple of years.
While this creates business opportunities to present-day service scope, it requires an evolution of the capabilities in our and the retailers' organizations.
Volvo cars is in the middle of transforming the network in Belux. After this network transformation retailers will have more scale and need support in preparing their organization for the future.
The Business & Retailer Development department, which you will be part of, is a core driver of that transformation. As a cross-functional team, we deal with all issues related to retailers, business, and the commercial business model. For this, a holistic business view is essential.
Who are you?
As Network Development Manager, you will support the Head of Business and Retailer Development in this transformation journey
You will:
- Support the rollout of the new retailer representation plan for Belux, find the right locations with the right format (new and/or used car sales service).
- Support the retailers in having the right structure/organizations to cope with their future challenges.
- Analyze new corporate projects/business cases.
- Conduct financial & legal analyses of these new concepts.
- Prepare the retailer business case for the new business model of selling direct.
- Liaise with our sister brands and align with HQ.

Desired Experience:
For this role, we are looking for someone with a university degree, preferably within Economics or Law, or someone with equivalent experience through years of practice.
You consider yourself to be a skilled negotiator, experienced in driving results through challenges whilst motivating others to join you.
