International Post Corporation (IPC) is a corporation of 26 posts from North-America, Asia Pacific and Europe. IPC is the world leader in innovative technology solutions for the global postal industry. Our services touch every area of international postal traffic from new and better reporting for international postal letters and packages traffic to implementing new ways to facilitate e-commerce across the globe. IPC's services are used by up to 190 posts worldwide. During the COVID-19 crisis, IPC played an instrumental role to ensure the continuity of postal flows.

Our Market Intelligence team is looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst, are you our new colleague?

Mission

As Market Intelligence Analyst, you help members adapt to the rapidly changing e-commerce global supply chain through market intelligence for the postal sector and its competitors.

Within the Commercial Department, you will hierarchically report to the Market Intelligence Manager.

Responsibilities

Develop and produce reports on comparative performance of postal operators and leading players in the global ecommerce supply chain based on analysis of the macro environment, financial reporting, business unit, volumes, employees, network, and sustainability reporting
Provide analytical and commentary support for the IPC Global Postal Industry Report
Support and update the content of the IPC Statistical Database
Analyse the performance of IPC members, other postal operators, and key competitors
Identify trends in competitive environments and present findings to senior management
Facilitate, with IPC members and other industry players, data collection and analysis
Provide data mining and analytical support
Manage adhoc projects

Profile
-
Knowledge and experience_

University graduate, preferably with a degree in business, finance, or economics
23 years of experience in market intelligence and analysis preferred
Highly numerate, strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required

Skills and attitude_

Able to extract, substantiate or challenge key facts and figures from annual reports and accounts and other sources
Team player, able to work in an international environment that requires discretion and the ability to keep data and knowledge confidential
Good knowledge of project management techniques
Results orientated, proactive, team player, able to work and actively contribute in a team environment
Fluent in English (spoken and written) => C1-C2 required.
