Portifer Engineering is looking for a Managing Director to join an international packaging machinery manufacturer with worldwide presence. The role is based in Antwerpen.

We are looking for a managing director in Belgium to:

• Manage a team of +20 employees (Sales, Service, back office)
• Execute the company strategy in the country
• Prepare the annual plan and budget.
• Implement daily business operations.
• Develop and initiate revenue growth strategies.
• Lead the team to meet and exceed goals and objectives.
• Present strategies and results to executives, the board, and other stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

• Engineering degree/Business Administration bachelor's degree. (not mandatory)
• Experience in growing a sales business as a Sales Manager, Sales or Managing Director. Min 5 years of experience leading a sales department or a Business Unit.
• Knowledge of the packaging machinery industry is an advantage.
• Ability to lead process improvements in a multistakeholder environment.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English. French is valuable, but not mandatory.
