About the job Functional Safety Manager:

YOUR MISSION:

As an Functional Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:

Planning and coordinating of the functional safety activities in the product development phases.
Functional safety process tailoring.
Perform preliminary hazard analysis, FMEDA, qualitative and quantitative fault tree analysis.
Defines the functional/technical safety requirements
Define safety mechanism, at the system, software and hardware level, necessary to achieve functional safety as defined by the applicable safety standard(s).
Define the cybersecurity concepts (system, SW, and HW level) to meet OEMs requirements
Ensure the implementation of the safety and/or cybersecurity concepts by the suppliers.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

University Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
At least three years' experience in functional safety position.
Knowledge of ISO standards or any other functional safety standards.
Excellent knowledge of safety methods (HAZOP, HARA, FMEA and FTA)
Knowledge of ISO/SAE 2143
TÜV AFSP certificate is a strong plus.
Good analytical & synthesis skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork spirit and independent working capability
Good written and oral communication skills.
Fluent in English, knowledge of French/Dutch is a strong plus.
