We are VS, a boutique company specialized in financial consulting with a focus on start-ups and scale-ups that do not have the capacity to hire a CFO full time but still need high level expertise to face problematics such as cash management, accounting, financial reporting, ERP integration, fund raising or debt restructuring.

In order to reinforce our consulting team in Brussels, we are looking for a Accounting & Compliance Consultant.

You will be part of VS Consulting finance team that is working closely with CEO's of start-ups and scale-ups to address critical challenges and transform finance process.

Typical projects that you will be working on include:

Implementing and maintain efficient accounting process for our different clients
Able to manage accounting from A to Z with help of other team mates (AP, AR, Banks, GL etc.)
Provide accurate information to the Business Controlling team for reporting/dashboard preparation
Ensure timely tax returns (VAT, CIT and WHT) and all compliance requests are met for our clients (statutory accounts, TP filing etc.)
Assist our clients in different audits (financial, tax, internal) when required
Collaborate on digitalization projects and automation of accounting processes

Who we look for:

Bachelor/Master in Accounting (or any other related fields) or equivalent with at least 1 3 years' experience as consultant
Good communicator, you express yourself fluently in French and English
Accurate, organized and flexible, you are selfsufficient
Team player, able to work effectively with all stakeholders (internal and external)
Member or trainee of the ITAA (Belgian Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants) is a plus
