    Job Description :


    We are currently looking for a dedicated RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) Engineer to join our team based in Transinne, Belgium, with occasional travel to France.

    Your responsibilities will encompass a range of key tasks:

    RAMS Expertise and Analysis:

    Utilize your RAMS engineering expertise to analyze and provide insights during the development, implementation, and certification of space products
    2 Availability and Maintainability Optimization:


    Analyze and optimize system availability, maintainability, and maintenance strategies
    3 Dependability & Safety Program:


    Develop, maintain, and implement a Dependability (RAM) & Safety program plan that addresses RAMS requirements across all project phases
    4 Design and Analysis:


    Perform RAMS design, analysis, modeling, and simulation to ensure that space products meet customer requirements throughout the project lifecycle
    5 Representation in Technical Forums:


    Act as a representative for RAMS in technical meetings and tenders dealing with RAMS-related issues
    6 Requirement Analysis:


    Identify RAMS requirements by analyzing and breaking down customer requirements for specifications, interfaces, and testing
    7 Subcontractor Coordination:


    Identify the data and requirements necessary for subcontractors to develop RAMS for subsystems and equipment
    8 Review and Risk Management:


    Review RAMS analyses performed by subcontractors, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and opportunities
    9 Design Compliance:


    Evaluate design compliance with RAMS engineering requirements by reviewing technical specifications, designs, and design changes, both hardware and software, and suggest design alternatives when appropriate to enhance reliability
    10 Safety Assessment:


    Evaluate the safety of systems and components, including the development of safety cases, taking into consideration anomaly categories and system impact
    11 Technical Analyses:


    Support the rationale for design solutions and the demonstration that the design meets RAMS requirements by performing various analyses, including FMECA, FTA, HW-SW interaction analysis, FDIR analysis, availability/outage analysis, KPI analysis, and maintainability activities
    12 Verification and Testing:


    Ensure that RAMS can be verified and participate in the review of test documentation
    13 Reporting and Collaboration:


    Report directly to the RAMS Manager and collaborate closely with team members within the RAMS team and other functional teams to achieve project objectives
    14 Industry Knowledge:


    • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in RAMS engineering.

    Profile / Requirements :



    Qualifications:

    A Master's degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., telecommunications, electronics, aerospace, electrical, mechanical engineering).Strong understanding of RAMS principles and methodologies.

    Experience in RAMS engineering for telecommunications, aerospace, aeronautics, railway, or automotive projects.
    Proficiency in reliability prediction models and reliability assessment techniques.
    Competence in RAMS analysis methods and safety analysis techniques, including FMECA, FTA, hazard analysis, and risk assessment.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to meet project deadlines successfully.
    A collaborative attitude to work effectively within a team and expand RAMS knowledge within the company.
    Willingness to train others in RAMS and FMECA analysis, modeling, and methods.
    A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in RAMS engineering.
    French-speaking proficiency in understanding and writing is an asset.
    Knowledge of ECSS standards and MIL-STD-1388 is a preferred skill.
