The role includes the following:

(A) Quality Programme Manager (0.5 FTE)

(B) CAMO Safety Manager (0.5 FTE)


Driven by demonstrated relevant knowledge, background and satisfactory experience related to aircraft continuing airworthiness management and demonstrated working knowledge of the EU 1321/2014 regulation, the CAMO Safety Manager is Nominated end responsible for the development, administration and maintenance of effective safety management processes within the domain of Continued Airworthiness of the airline.


As the CAMO and AOC's safety management processes are integrated, the CAMO Safety Manager works closely together with the AOC Safety Manager and both report directly to the Accountable Manager for their respective domains.

In that role the CAMO Safety Manager interacts regularly with the CAMO Safety analyst (who coordinates the various safety management activities within the CAMO, and resides under the Nominated Person Continued Airworthiness).


ABOUT THE JOB
As Quality Programme Manager - Compliance you will be responsible for:

  • continuously monitoring and reviewing new regulations concerning the field of operational and technical procedures. You will assess and approve whether changed or new technical and operational procedures comply with the CCL. If so, you will register these changes in the CLL;
- maintaining contacts with, and consulting, third parties, such as TUI Group airlines, NAA's, maintenance companies and / or other airlines, on all aspects of Quality and Compliance;
- you will act as the Flight Operations Standards Commission (FOSC) chairman. Together with Document Controlling Officer, you will coordinate FOSC meetings and monitor the FOSC process. Hereby you will advise the FOSC on all procedural proposals and changes in the operational field.

Like all other QSSE colleagues, you also bear responsibility for any related work to continuously improve the quality and safety standards of the QSSE department such as; investigate, follow-up and giving feedback on crew reports, incidents and non-compliances


The CAMO Safety Manager has to ensure all aspects of the airline's Safety Management System (SMS) are functioning effectively in the CAMO so that safety risks are identified, understood and prevented.

The primary role of the CAMO Safety Manager is to:

- facilitate hazard identification, risk assessment and management in the CAMO;
- monitor the implementation of CAMO actions taken to mitigate risks, as listed in the safety action plan, unless action follow-up is addressed by the compliance monitoring function;
- provide periodic reports on CAMO safety performance to the safety review board
- ensure that there is appropriate CAMO safety training available, and that it meets acceptable standards;
- provide advice on CAMO safety matters.

In a shared role and governed by a clear arbitration process by the Accountable Manager, both the AOC and CAMO Safety Managers share the following tasks:

  • the development, administration and maintenance of the integrated safety management processes;
- ensuring the maintenance of safety management documentation;
- ensuring the initiation and follow-up of internal occurrence investigations;
- deputize for each other roles in case of absence/unavailability to guarantee SMS oversight continuity.


ABOUT YOU
- a relevant engineering degree as per CAMO.A.305(c) or an additional 5 years' experience to below requirement;

  • 5 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position;
  • You have perfect knowledge of international and national aviation regulation and legislation (E.g. EASA);
- good knowledge of commercial aviation regulations: Part-145, Part-M, Part-CAMO, BCAA circulars
- knowledge of a relevant sample of the type(s) of aircraft gained through a formalized training course;
- thorough knowledge of the CAME;
- knowledge of relevant parts of operational requirements and procedures;
- knowledge of the AOC holder's operations specifications;
- knowledge of the need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the AOC holder's operations manual;
- knowledge of maintenance methods;
- knowledge of HF principles and Safety Management Systems based on the EU; management system requirements (including compliance monitoring) and ICAO Annex 19 (International Civil Aviation Organisation).
