How You'll Help Us Connect The World

We have a fantastic career development opportunity for an experienced Test Engineer to join us in the lab, where we will give you lots of training and support while you learn all things optical.

You'll then take on the responsibility of running the lab and managing the team of 6 Test Technicians.

If you have a strong testing background with some experience in leading others and taking operational responsibility, this could be the role for you


You'll make an impact by

• You are the point of contact for all testrelated activities within a product introduction project.
• Approve final test plans and execution schedules
• Ensure that all test resources (Test Technicians & Equipment) are available on time.
• Collaborate with the Test Lab Manager to predict, plan and execute test activities.
• Timely delivery of test reports according to project timeline.
• Followup and support of Test Technicians.
• Handle multiple test projects simultaneously and provide planning support to project managers.
• After thorough training in the Lab, you will be given the responsibility of supporting and directing multiple Test Lab Technicians.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Sciences and Technology, or related.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (speaking and writing)
• Desire to learn about all things optical transmission used in the telecommunications industry.
• You can motivate and coach people. Some experience in leading a team is an advantage.
• You have analytical and critical thinking skills.
• You work in a resultoriented way, you dare to identify working points and formulate solutions.
• You dare to set the right priorities and take initiative.
• Knowledge of MS office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project

• Knowledge of fibre optic connectivity and understanding of telecommunications industry

Full-time, Permanent contract


Salary:
€60, €75,000.00 per year
