ROLE SUMMARY


Our aim is to ensure the highest level of service to our patients and bring full visibility for our shipments and enable a 24/7 control tower oversight of all our temperature-controlled shipments within Pfizer intercompany operations (IO).

This role will be a key player in ensuring we launch all new lanes with real time temperature & location capabilities.


The Real Time Temperature Monitoring (RTTM) Onboarding Project Manager will be responsible for the management of onboarding and offboarding of sites for real time temperature monitoring solutions.

This includes managing change controls, site trainings, access to relevant platforms and the physical logger stocks management for launch.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing project plans to ensure global readiness for new product launch activities from the RTTM team perspecitve and ensuring smooth go live: including operational day to day queries during hypercare period
  • Partners with sites, markets, logistics delivery operations, logistics platform services, customer service and logistics providers, to ensure that temperature sensitive products are shipped and handled in a compliant and efficient matter according to all regulations and Pfizer quality standards.
  • Responsible for designing and executing change management for projects and transactional activities as defined by intercompany operations standard operating procedures.
  • Continuous process improvements for project management, onboarding and general process flow improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferable Master's degree
  • 36 years of preferred experience within the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain
  • Strong problemsolving skills able to handle difficult or complex business challenges
  • Selfmotivated individual with a track record of internal drive and motivation to perform tasks without external prodding
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and work in a matrixed, global environment
  • Proficiency with common computer programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in other languages a plus
  • Aptitude to learn, develop, and adapt to change
  • Experience and knowledge of latest cold chain packaging technologies/trends is a plus

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Demonstrated skills as a project lead with the ability to drive results with stakeholders of varying levels
  • General understanding of shipping temperature controlled pharmaceutical shipments in terms of shipping systems and monitoring equipment
  • Understanding of GMP/GDP requirements as it relates to transporting and protecting temperature sensitive products within the supply chain.
  • Ability to work with multicultural teams and collaborative environment
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • The role will be part of the Pfizer On Call Service, including nonstandard business hours support (e.g. weekends) as required.
  • Must be able to work in a global environment across multiple time zones
  • Up to 5% travel
