Business Analyst

In the Risk & Credits tribe, the risk cluster is in charge of the set-up of the risk data and calculation infrastructure.

The CR2 squad is running the current BECRIS (for professional credits) infrastructure. The squad is also preparing the switch from KCP to BECRIS (for individuals).

1 of the analysts working in the initiative to deliver BECRIS for individuals will take a break from July till December 2023.

We are looking for an analyst that can assist the squad during this period.

Function description

The BECRIS data is used by us to support a number of Credit Risk management processes, mainly in the detection of early warnings and support during credit acquisition.

BECRIS for individuals will leverage the same infrastructure, but add an additional on-line functionality as the bank has to consult the (negative & positive) credit central prior to granting a new consumer or mortgage credit.

The analyst will work with
- the squad to ensure that the requirements for individuals that are not part of BECRIS for professionals are implemented correctly
- the developers to ensure that deliverables are in line with user expectation; this includes code review and white box testing
- use SAS or SQL to determine various use cases
- use SAS or SQL during testing, checking all results over the full portfolio
- detail specific use cases and document expected behaviour

Language requirements

Dutch

Fluent/good in speaking & understanding, basic/good in writing

Fluent/good in speaking & understanding, basic/good in writing

English

Fluent in writing, good in speaking & understanding

Education

Graduate or college (university) degree preferred

- able to work with a complex environment and extensive data model
- focus on mathematics in education or professional experience

Certification

Telework

Expectation : 50% on site 50% homeworking

Required experience / knowledge
At least 2 years of relevant experience

Technical experience

mandatory
- medium experience with SQL
- functional / technical analysis skills
- medium to expert knowledge of standard MS tools and technologies: Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Access
- testing capabilities

preferable
- notions of programming (able to discuss code with the developer)
- experience with XML/SOAP
- experience with Java programming
- experience with MQ Series

Business experience

mandatory
- experience in supporting a development squad in an agile environment
- experience with working in a large company/complex business environment

2 to 3 years of experience in functional analysis & development

- experience in large scale IT development
- expertise in data/process analysis, requirements documentation, testing

preferable
- credit / credit risk knowledge
- experience with EU regulation on credit or credit risk (Basel III, etc)
- knowledge of BECRIS (or AnaCredit)
- economics and/or mathematics background
