The Finance General team manages the planning and direction of finance process and activities. Activities include the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.

This role in summary:

As our Finance Manager for Belgium, Netherlands and the Nordics, you will play a key role in providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and ensure the company's financial performance and sustainability.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of financial controlling, budgeting, and forecasting activities within the organization

Your responsibilities will include:

You'll be responsible for the timely preparation of annual and monthly financial statements according to US-GAAP principles.
In this role, you will guarantee compliance with local legislation and internal group guidelines, and make sure that accounting is correct, transparent and complete. In addition, you proactively manage relationships with auditors, work in close cooperation with our SSC in Lodz, and work in close cooperation with our HQ tax specialists on relevant tax matters.
You'll be responsible for an accurate budget and forecast process. Here you'll act as a business partner for the budget owners and the general management by ensuring budget adherence, highlighting risks and opportunities, developing business cases for new projects, being driven by a strong service mentality.
You'll ensure a timely distribution of financial information to every budget holder.
You'll carry out a return on investment calculation for proposed investments and make sure that a positive return will be achieved.
You'll maintain an effective credit risk management, make sure that payment terms are in line with industry standards, assess customer creditworthiness on a regular basis and avoid bad debts.
You'll manage and develop a team of highly engaged and motivated people by setting and agreeing on annual objectives, conducting performance reviews and foster further development through e.g. internal trainings.

Minimum requirements:

58 years of relevant Finance experience, at least 2 years as a Finance Manager, previous experience within white goods industry is an advantage
University Degree in Business Administration or similar
Very strong English skills
Strong accounting (US GAAP & IFRS and Local Accounting Standards) and taxation knowledge
IT literate, excellent MS Excel / Gsheets knowledge, familiarity with SAP ERP system and any integrated business analysis tool is a plus (SAP BI / Hyperion etc.)
Strong leadership skills and ability to build trust and commitment
Highly analytical and able to quickly identify and analyze risks and impacts and define alternatives
Capable of communicating precisely, effectively and convincingly based on facts with internal and external stakeholders alike
Selfmotivated, selfdirected and able to work under pressure in a fastpaced team environment
