HSE OFFICER - SUBSTATION PACKAGE SERVICE


MANE are currently after a HSE Officer preferably a Belgian resident (not mandatory) for our Client's Energy Island Project which aims to build a new grid in the Belgian North Sea for renewable energy.

It plans to connect up to 3.5 GW of power from offshore wind farms to the mainland and create a hub for energy transmission.

This includes building an artificial island with substations and cables to link the offshore energy to the shore.

The project needs an HSE officer for the substation part.

This person will work with the HSE manager, coordinate safety, and handle all HSE issues related to the substation package.

They will ensure compliance with safety regulations, attend HSE meetings, review documents, conduct audits and inspections, and help with emergency response coordination


Requirements for this role include:

  • At least 5 years of experience in HSE management
  • Technical qualifications
  • Knowledge of high voltage substations, and familiarity with Belgian HSE laws.
  • Good communication and leadership skills are essential,
  • Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
The position is full-time, based in Brussels, with occasional site visits. The start date is immediate.
