Mission


The Sales Manager will add value to the growth activities by further developing the existing customers' portfolio and identifying new commercial opportunities.

He/she will define the commercial policy & coordinate its implementation.

As a key member of the Management Committee, he/she will report to the CEO Belgium and manage the national sales team (4 employees).


Responsibilities:


  • Participating in the development, together with the other members of the MC, of the strategic vision, thanks to a solid knowledge of the market and its expectations
  • Developing the commercial strategy and responsible for its implementation
  • Organizing, energizing, animating and monitoring the growth activity
  • Ensuring the coordination, animation and development of his team members in order to guarantee the expected level of performance in line with the defined commercial strategy
  • Following up on the performance of the carriedout plans
  • Acting as a trustful company representative towards external stakeholders and lead by example.
Profiel

Profile and competences

  • Higher education or equivalent in experience
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience
  • Strong affinity with the transport & logistics sector but experience in the sector in not mandatory
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team
  • Commercial awareness & operational mindset
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Handson attitude
  • Energetic, flexible and resultsoriented
  • Fluent in Dutch & French.
