The client's unit of 'Information Systems' is in charge of developing, maintaining, and operating the DG's information systems at the three geographical sites in Brussels, Luxembourg, and Grange.

The unit works directly with the policy units on digital solutions to implement policies and

manages the local IT infrastructure and support.

The mission is to:

Improve and protect human health, and support the modernization of Europe's health systems;
Ensure that all food, feed, and medicinal products marketed in the EU are safe and that EU standards are promoted globally
Protect animal health and welfare and plant health
Contribute to a wellfunctioning and fair internal market in food

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The following tasks will be performed:

[Essential] Analysis of Business requirements
Documentation of Business requirements

- [Essential] Business model analysis
- [Essential] Business process analysis

Business processes modeling

- [Essential] Functional requirements and business cases analysis

Risk analysis
Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters, and Security Plans

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

The minimum educational qualification is the level of education corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a
bachelor's degree of 3 years or 3 years of higher education.

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE AND TECHNOLOGIES

[Essential] At least 5 years of specific expertise in: Good knowledge of information systems matters

[Essential] At least 5 years of specific expertise in: Good knowledge of large organization administrative business processes, specifically in SPS and international domain

[Essential] At least 3 years of specific expertise in: Good knowledge of analysis/modeling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.)

At least 3 years of specific expertise in: Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with an equivalent value
At least 3 years of specific expertise in: Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites
At least 3 years of specific expertise in: Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile)

KNOWLEDGE AND (NON-TECHNICAL) SKILLS

The following

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis
Capability to speak to business and technical audiences
Strong capacity to give highlevel presentations. Excellent critical thinker, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
Ability to participate in multilingual meetings, excellent communicator
The capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment
The capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability, and experience in working in a team
Excellent Team Player
The ability to understand, speak and write French C1 will be an advantage
