What to Expect

As a Senior Bodyshop Technician, you will carry out a wide range of technical vehicle repairs, predominantly without supervision, as well as focusing on the continuous development of your technical skills. We've created one of the most innovative vehicles ever made, and you will help ensure an equally innovative service to customers.

What You'll Do

Demonstrate complete ownership of the repair from intake until the vehicle is returned to the customer by understanding all Tesla vehicle systems and subsystems, and being able to perform all repairs and maintenance on all types of Tesla vehicles
Inspect vehicles prior to customer delivery to the internal approved standard and operate a variety of tools, working with Tesla specific software and vehicle diagnostic tools
Collaborate with fellow senior technicians and lead technicians, carrying out more advanced tasks as part of your development, continuously learning and developing your knowledge and skills
Coach and assist associate level Bodyshop technicians in their work
Act on escalations and collaborating with more senior technicians if further escalation is required for complex issues
Work across local and international teams, engaging with other technicians, service center staff and engineering to solve problems and establish best practice and support other internal departments and management teams as required
Follow all Tesla specified repair guidelines to the accepted quality levels, maintaining a high level of quality assurance in all works and always following safety instructions
Complete accurate technical write ups and administration, ensuring all internal systems are up to date and ensure a high standard of documentation of work performed
When required, meet the customer in a mobile service vehicle and carry out repairs, ensuring an excellent mobile service experience by going the extra mile

What You'll Bring

Good communication: you are an extraordinary team player, can follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail and provide leadership and instructions to teammates showcasing excellence within the refinish process
Technical qualification: you have an educational background in a mechanical or electricalrelated discipline and significant technical work experience from automotive industry or a related industry (e.g., Aeronautics, Engines, Electrical, Marine, Aviation, other mechanics, or industrial mechanic etc.)
Customer management: you are great with people Our customer's satisfaction is key and you are expected to communicate with them and answer questions about the repair order whenever needed
Adaptability: you are a fast learner and highly adaptable to working in an everchanging environment
Problemsolving: you are wellorganized and able to think ahead with solutions to challenges, being able to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
Leadership: you are able to develop and mentor more junior employees in your field
Mobility: you have a valid driving license and maintain a clear driving record
Motivation: you are highly motivated to deliver Tesla's mission
Fluency: you are fluent in Dutch or French, and have good English knowledge
