We are looking for:

An experienced Group Data Privacy Officer with a Law Degree and/or Master's Degree in Ethics and Compliance or equivalent.
A certified Information Privacy Professional/Officer or Data Protection Officer is a plus.
Someone with 5+ years' experience inhouse in a Data Privacy Compliance role.

We count on you for:

Developing a Data Protection Programme and overseeing its implementation.
Setting up and leading the Data Protection and Privacy Office for Solvay.
Preparing and leading the Data Protection & Privacy Board.
Analyzing the regulatory framework and overseeing implementation of new legislation.
Working closely with business partners to identify potential areas of compliance and data protection risks within the organization.
Providing advice & arbitration on Privacy Compliance issues when needed.
Identify risks and issues, investigate, mitigate and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Design and implement training on Data Protection for employees.
Develop policies, procedures and a global global communication plan related to Data Protection.
Acting as liaison with governments and external stakeholders.
Ensuring that compliance efforts are appropriately documented and monitored.

You will bring:

Good knowledge of Privacy laws and regulations affecting business operations.
Experience, managing and implementing compliance programs across a complex organization with a global presence.
Experience working internationally and/or has spent significant time working with international business partners to develop and oversee implementation of corporate programs across divisions.
Aims high with integrity, result and business oriented.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks and projects.
