POLITICO's Media Solutions team is seeking a smart, strategic and motivated Advertising Trainee to join our pioneering and growing media company in Brussels starting as soon as possible for a 4-6 month period **.

As a member of the Media Solutions team, the trainee plays an integral role in the development and execution of public affairs campaigns including advertising, sponsored content, events and conferences.

What You'll Do

Research potential clients and contacts for prospecting outreach
Draft initial outreach notes to support sales team
Competitive and industry analysis
Update sales materials with new information
Assist in developing and executing advertising campaigns: website display ads, newsletters, social media, print, etc.
Contribute to the delivery of branded content campaigns to ensure high quality and timeliness of final product (potential collaboration with POLITICO Studio)
Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
Copy edit campaign messages and sponsored content
Coordinate client campaign needs with other POLITICO departments
Aid department with administrative and research projects as needed
Assist in special projects as needed

What You'll Need

Min. Bachelor's degree
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent English writing and copy editing
Experience with PowerPoint and Keynote
Eye for design quality and presentation aesthetic
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Outstanding client focus understand client needs and carry those through the research, campaign delivery, and reporting
Understanding of political and policy processes, EU policy experience a plus
Fluent English, written and spoken and any other European language
Sense of humor
