Job Summary

The main objective of the store keeper is to ensure that helicopter parts, tools and equipment are easily found in the warehouse.

And that all of these are correctly registered when received or used.

The store keeper will report to the Store Coordinator.

TECHNICAL

Consulting the software system to locate the necessary items, collect them and book transport where necessary;
Checking that items are in the correct location and relocating them if necessary;
Carrying out regular checks on the inventory and remove expired items;
Ensuring the warehouse area is clean and tidy;
Evaluating and administratively processing returned (unusable/defective) items.

LOGGING

Correctly logging delivered items by following the necessary procedures and internal rules (also in the software system) with the eye on quantity & quality;
Correctly registering the use or return of parts;
Registering the returns of tools;
Registering unusable or defective items according to the evaluation.
Experience
Preferably relevant experience;
Initial experience in warehousing or logistics through for example internship;
Experience

in aviation and/or logistics environment is an plus;

Possession of a forklift certificate is a plus;
Possession of a driving licence B is a must.
Skills
Excellent knowledge English is necessary, Dutch and French are a plus
Good knowledge of MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Administrative skills
Teamplayer who likes to assist his colleagues
Shows interest in technical matters
Logical thinking skills
