Essential Functions

  • Handle customer inquiries quickly and effectively, resolve problems with empathy and care, maintain relationships and enhance the company's reputation
  • Optimizing customer relationship and satisfaction to develop sales
Obtaining customer information and discovering possibly new projects

  • Cooperation with Account manager concerning customer information, projects and current action
  • Order Management: order entry, follow up, confirmation, update towards customers, logistics, invoices
  • Coordinate with the Lab, production, QC, SCM, Warehouse and Finance teams to ensure the customers orders will be fulfilled effectively
  • Entry of Customer complaints (quality complaint, logístical complaint, general service complaint) in QNS
  • Creation and maintenance of customer files (general information, prices, other)
  • Manages and controls customer specific supply chain agreements (eg consignments stocks, safety stocks etc.)
  • Handle customer's daily inquiries (e.g. price quotation, CoA, TAR)
Sample orders processing and handling of all required documentation

  • Deliver TDS/MSDS/other certificates to customers prepared by product stewardship
  • Creation and update of intragroup pricing with TP tool
Account receivables - Monitoring of payment behavior and overdues (dunning process)

  • Update of the Customer Master Data

Other duties as assigned:

  • Proactively informs Sales Reps about customer specific issues (Accounting, Delays, critical general issues)
  • Proactively informs Sales Reps customer information and projects
Issuing of order related documents

  • Issues credit and debit notes in agreement with management guidelines
  • Promptly collects, redirects and distributes customer requests and corresponding demands to relevant dept
  • Follows up Lab Requests, samples & documentations
Support sales team in special agreements (rebate, NDA, supplier rating)

  • Participation in customer audits / customer visits together with the sales force
Education and Experience

  • Experience in customer management (sales/customer service)
  • Dutch, French and English (advanced)
Additional Qualifications

  • Understanding of Order to Cash Processes
  • ICommercial / administrative qualification
  • Welldeveloped IT user skills (MS office / knowledge of SAP)
