About the role:

As a Technical Solution Architect you will engage with industrial customers, our sales force and the product teams to define and develop leading industrial IoT solutions which make a real impact.

You will be responsible for working with solution architects and developers, our product teams and our (pre)-sales colleagues to define the architecture of sellable IoT solutions.

The team is based in Europe but this role can be based remotely in - EMEA, India, US

Area of responsibility:

Act as solution consultant to strategic Sales/PreSales pursuits and Services projects, providing mentorship through the complexity of solution architecture options and the long term roadmap for the solution.
Act as the ultimate authority on architectural design to address business problems.
Support solution development teams in making the right technical decisions in the implementation of solutions
Provide direction for process design, process integration and process change activities either internally or at customer sites. Where required lead Solution Leadership elements of the PLM deployment framework Consults on strategic and/or sophisticated Enterprise projects at country level, of diverse scope that require specialist expertise and high levels of technical leadership.
Advise the product teams on improvement potential and need for the existing platform capabilities

Your qualifications:

Degree in STEM field (science, technology, engineering or mathematics)
Relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years on definition, architecture and development of solutions for the digitization of manufacturing operations.
Handson experience in manufacturing operations e.g. in the automotive, industrial machinery or similar industries with an excellent understanding of the challenges in modern manufacturing operations and how the industrial internet of things in combination with analytics and machine learning can tackle them.
Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
Experience with PLM is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to help. colleagues and customers find the right solution (not the obvious/easy one).
Able to function independently in a fastpaced, dynamic work environment.
Comfortable presenting in front of executives and customers.
