    We are currently seeking a Human Resource Generalist who will be responsible for day-to-day HR operations supporting HR activities and processes for Software AG's entities in Belgium and the Neverlands. The HR Generalist role is to manage and ensure the quality of employee data in Workday while supporting various HR functions within the organization. This role is crucial in driving our mission by ensuring accurate and timely HR operations, which support our overall strategic goals. Reporting to the Regional Lead HR Ops, the HR Operations Administrator plays a key role in aligning regional HR processes, assisting with onboarding, and supporting performance management and policy reviews.

    Essential Functions

    • Monitor the return of signed contracts, ensuring an onboarding plan is in place and fully completed in Gateway. (for both on and off boarding)
    • Manage employee data, ensuring data quality.
    • Provide updates to terms and conditions where required (promotions, etc.).
    • Assist with onboarding and orientation, ensuring documentation is produced accurately and timely, and tracked for completion and compliance. Assist managers with new employee orientation to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
    • Assist in the drafting of employment contracts, and make recommendations for legislative changes.
    • Work with the EMEA team on specific projects to improve and align processes across the region.
    • Ensure job descriptions for all positions are accurate, conform to standards, and are fit for purpose (i.e., to ensure candidates meet role criteria; set and manage performance expectations, etc.).
    • Monitor probationary periods to ensure performance reviews take place and are documented in line with local requirements.
    • Review policies and liaise with the local HR Manager to suggest amendments/updates.
    • Support and advise managers in performance management meetings.
    • Support managers and employees during redundancy processes.
    • Manage benefit plans (renewals, etc.).
    • Assist managers and provide support in change of contract requests, e.g., flexible working.
    • Ensure all offboarding is completed in Gateway.
    • Build stakeholder relationships with key employees to support departmental strategic goals.
    • Keep updated on employment law changes and make recommendations to the HR Manager.
    • Creating SOP's, doing cross training and working toward a shared service model together with the HR Operations team globally.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
    • Experience with HR software systems, preferably Workday and SAP
    • Experience with preparing payroll documentation.
    • Proven track record in managing various HR functions such as onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch and French
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
