Goodman is providing a full suite of real estate related services to legal entities we manage across Continental Europe. As an Accounts Receivable and Payable Officer you will provide operational support in the Shared Service Centre.

On the AR responsibilities, invoicing the later services is an important recurring workstream the Brussels based Shared Service Centre is taking care of.

This role takes end-to-end ownership of the accounts receivable work flow.

From an Accounts Payable point of view, the responsibilities are primarily processing purchase invoices against purchase orders in the Purchase to Pay system and booking invoices in the accounting system.

Also, you will be first line support for the P2P users within Continental Europe and assist them.

More concretely, this means you are committed:

  • To raise all intercompany and related party sales invoices and follow-up on settlement
  • To manage the approval process related to the intercompany and related party invoices
  • To ensure the efficient, timely and correct accounting booking of the purchase and sales invoices into the accounting system (Unit4 Financials)
  • To send created sales invoices to the different legal entities for filing
  • To file monthly sales invoices
  • To perform checks regarding correct coding on purchase invoices (e.g. VAT code, currency, legal entity )
  • To interact with different internal stakeholders such as business teams across Continental Europe, Shared Services, Finance and others
Do you recognize yourself?

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Economics or relevant working experience within the accountancy domain
  • You are fluent in English
  • You have the ability to communicate and engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • You have an eye for detail and are deadline driven
  • You are a true multitasker with adequate organisational skills
  • You are customer service minded, respecting internal service level agreements
