Your Role :We are seeking a talented and dynamic Customer Service Manager to join our team and help us achieve our site's objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating our customer service teams to ensure optimal inbound and outbound planning, and exceptional customer service. You will have the opportunity to use your leadership and coaching skills to motivate and empower your team to perform at their best. You will be responsible for setting clear objectives, coaching your team to achieve those objectives, and continuously monitoring their performance to ensure targets are met.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Continuous monitoring of the targets and performance of the customer service teams.
  • Coaching and developing the customer service teams to achieve their goals.
  • Steering the customer service teams to focus on output and achieve expected results.
  • Motivating employees to achieve their objectives.
  • Implementing continuous improvement and maintaining a culture of improvement.
  • Drawing up, executing, and adjusting the tactical/operational plan for the department based on longterm policy.
  • Thinking along and working on the tactical and strategic longterm policy of the branch.
  • Ensuring quality within the department.
  • Understanding and explaining the financial and operational results.
  • Ensuring timely and correct delivery of KPIs.
  • Engaging with customers to create solid relationships and a customercentric culture.

Your Skills and Experiences:


  • Bachelor or Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
  • Knowledge of transport modalities.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in various customer service activities including customer service, production planning, transport planning, stock management, etc.
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge, experience with WMS and TMS.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch language skills.
