- De coördinatie van de dagelijkse activiteiten voor je klanten. Denk daarbij aan import en export, supply chain, carrier releases, douaneformaliteiten, transport- en magazijnplanning, opvolging systeemgegevens, carrier boekingen, documentaanvragen, oplossen en eventueel escaleren van klantgerelateerde uitdagingen;
- Het oplossen van de diverse, dagelijkse operationele issues; je bent continu in verbinding met de verschillende stakeholders zoals de inbound afdeling, trucking bedrijven, rederijen, magazijn, key accountmanagement en uiteraard de klanten;
- Je houd je klanten op de hoogte van informatie met betrekking tot hun lading en je fungeert als single point of contact voor je klant;
- Het continu identificeren, documenteren en doorvoeren van procesverbeteringen;
- Je beheert de informatiestroom naar de douaneafdeling en de facturing en relevante documentatiestroom naar je klanten;
- Je zorgt voor een effectieve opvolging en archivering van discrepanties en tijdige en zorgvuldige informatievoorziening van je stakeholders, zowel binnen als buiten de organisatie;
- Je zorgt voor de beste marktprijzen en oplossingen en zorgvuldige afhandeling van de dagelijkse tariefaanvragen (incl. Tenders);

De baan
In deze uitdagende positie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het van A tot Z bedienen van onze grote, internationale klanten. Je zorgt ervoor dat je hun supply chain tot op spijkerniveau begrijpt, zodat je in staat bent het deel van de keten, dat door onze warehouses en cross-dock facilities gaat, feilloos af te handelen. Daarnaast bouw en onderhoud je relaties met vervoerders en relevante collega's wereldwijd.

Jouw Profiel
Om deze rol succesvol in te vullen, beschik je allereerst over een proactief, resultaatgericht DNA en een hands-on, probleemoplossende mentaliteit. Daarnaast is het van belang dat je makkelijk contacten legt, helder communiceert in zowel het Nederlands dan wel Vlaams als in het Engels en van nature in staat bent professionele relaties op te bouwen en te onderhouden.
Jij bent sterk in het onderscheiden van hoofd- en bijzaken en in het stellen van prioriteiten. Bovenal ben je een enthousiaste can-do type met een postieve instelling met de ambitie een carrière op te bouwen bij het grootste en tofste bedrijf in de logistiek.
Enige ervaring in de logistiek (customer service en/of magazijn) is erg waardevol en enige kennis van zee- en/of luchtvrachtvaart is mooi meegenomen maar geen vereiste. Dit geldt ook voor enige ervaring met WMS-, TMS- en ERP-systemen en Excel. Belangrijker is dat je in staat en bereid bent bent deze systemen je eigen te maken.
