Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant business/corporate tax:

You advise companies on their choices and on their tax strategy development on a national and international level.
You help companies dealing with tax procedures by preparing tax declarations, assisting them during tax controls, following up disputes/discussions with tax authorities, preparing and handing in rulings.
You will stay uptodate regarding market changes and develop a broader knowledge around your client portfolio.
You maintain longterm collaborative and profitable relationships with your client and proactively identify and inform of possible new missions or opportunities in the existing portfolio.
You proactively communicate and collaborate with your colleagues of the team and supervise work (quality, workload,) of juniors and escalate observation to the executive.
You actively participate to the training and coaching session of your development plan and be responsible for the development of your own technical knowledge.
You will be based in our Hasselt office.

To qualify for the role you must have:

Master's degree in law or economics with a supplementary degree in fiscal matters.
At least 34 years of experience in Tax within a similar environment or within other industries.
Client and market focused, practical, stress resistant and an excellent communicator.
Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
