What's the job about:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing logistic projects of customer from inbound to last mile delivery.
The Project Coordinator evaluates customer's project plan on feasibility and is responsible for ensuring project planning will be met.
This person will therefore be responsible for inbound operations, creating pick-pack orders and organizing transport.

Also, the Project Coordinator needs to coordinate necessary activities of other Yusen departments and act as first contact person for customer.


Main tasks:


  • Coordinates actions of departments, in order to meet outbound project planning
  • Prioritize and distribute tasks within Yusen based on customer requests
  • Crosscheck availability of products for project planning
  • Arrange availability within Yusen for delivery of inbound orders
  • Create inbound orders in WMS
  • Communicate inbound discrepancies with customer
  • Organize new pickpack orders
  • Arrange outbound transport with carriers
  • Meet customer requirements
  • Monitoring outbound transport agreements
  • Timely inform customer on changes
  • First point of contact for external customer
  • First point of contact for internal customers
  • Sets actions within internal network to meet customer requirements
  • Oversees administrative tasks, such as customs and billing
  • Ensures planning activities and transport performance are documented correctly and in full

Who are we looking for?

  • HBO/MBO4 level
  • Min. 25 years of experience in transport and warehousing
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Communicative skills
  • Structured way of working
  • General knowledge of logistics mínimal required
  • Assertive
  • Organized
  • Result oriented
  • Confident and independent
