- On number 1 - lead the financial strategy and operations of the Business Solutions Division, ensuring alignment with the group's overall objectives.
- Manage and oversee a team of experts involved in finance operations, ensuring quality control and adherence to agreed standards and deadlines.
- Be responsible for the comprehensive financial operations of the division, including but not limited to, accounting, billing & collection, controlling, budgeting, reporting and procurement.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes to mitigate risks and enhance the efficiency of financial operations.
- Drive the financial planning process, providing strategic insights and recommendations to support decision-making and divisional growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, fiscal and regulatory requirements related to financial operations in Europe (with a strong expertise in Belgium & France).
- Lead, guide, and mentor both internal finance team members and external finance contractors, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Shown passionate leadership in a finance role, preferably with a fan base in fintech or financial services.
- A solid and proven background in financial operations, such as but not limited to reporting, budgeting & forecasting, tax compliance and M&A.
- A day-to-day, hands-on mindset
- A knack for leading and harmonizing teams, whether they're in-house or not.
- Leadership skills that even inspire the colleagues who don't like numbers.
- Tech-savvy, you like to find your way in financial softwares and you are a pro in pivoting data to provide business insights.
