About our role:

Our client, Elia, a key player in the Belgian and European energy landscape, is seeking a Product Owner for its Design Framework - Nova.

As a part of Elia Group, you will contribute to building a sustainable, green, and reliable energy infrastructure that stimulates economic growth and reduces our ecological footprint.

What you will be doing:

Define and manage the roadmap for the UX Design System, aligning it with company goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.

Work with UX designers, developers, and other teams to ensure system alignment with business and end-user needs.

Prioritize and manage the product backlog, keeping it up-to-date with current priorities.

Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure the system meets end-user needs.

Develop and maintain design guidelines, patterns, and components for consistency across the system.

Monitor and analyze usage metrics and feedback for continuous improvement of the UX Design System.

Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in UX design and design systems.

What you bring:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, UX Design, or related field.

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.

Strong understanding of UX design principles and best practices.

Experience in developing and managing design systems is a big plus.

Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Good experience with Agile development principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of German or French is a plus.

The offer:

Start:
Around 02/01/2024

End: 6 months contract + Extensions

Work regime: 40h full-time
